As Julie and I prepared a power point for an annual report for the church conference of Nicaragua this week, we were amazed at all of the different things that the Lord has done during the last year.  It helped us reflect on what God has called us to do and the blessing that it is to be involved in the growing church of Latin America.  We also found the answer to a question that has been plaguing us for some time.  We realized why we feel a bit tired at times.

The church in Nicaragua has continued to grow, not only in numbers, but also in depth.  It's very rewarding to see additional fruit in the ministries and lives of the pastors and leaders who are studying in the Bible institute.

We are also encouraged by the testimonies of the students in the online Bible institute.  This past month we were able to publish three of the materials in correspondence format and expect that at least for a few years it will be more popular than the online materials.

While all of this is exciting, we are mindful that we are in the last 5 months of our term before home ministries.   We are looking forward to having the opportunity to share with you personally in the coming year all that God is doing in Nicaragua and beyond.

If you would like to schedule a time for us to visit your church, don't wait until the last minute. Schedule a service now to be sure to get your preferred dates.  We will be available from July 2009 until July 2010.

You can request a service two different ways, both methods require that you first check availability on our online calendar by clicking here

1.  First, you can request a date by email at: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

2.  Secondly, you may request an event directly from our calendar by clicking here and filling in the form.  Services scheduled in this way will not appear immediately on the calendar.  There is a short delay while they are reviewed and confirmed.  After they appear on the calendar and you receive confirmation the dates are yours.
